Berluti welcomes clients from the world over, and we always have – from the early days when Torello Berluti opened the 9 Rue du Mont-Thabor boutique in Paris in 1929, to our current-day historic flagship at 26 Rue Marbeuf. 

For decades, daily sales were recorded in plain notebooks, a living archive that reflects the wide-ranging nature – both geographically and professionally – of Berluti’s eclectic clientele. The rollcall includes prestigious film directors like Martin Scorsese and François Truffaut alongside business executives, lawyers, artists and doctors, and even waiters who saved up to afford the ultimate comfortable treat – a pair of shoes from Berluti.
