Berluti presents Toile Marbeuf
Berluti is introducing The Toile Marbeuf, a new travel line part of the Fall-Winter 2023 collection.
Tailored to the Berluti man, a reflection of an instinctive and unconstrained approach to travel: an effortless elegance shaped by a dynamic life on the move and the reinvented dress codes for which it calls, rooted in fine craftsmanship imbued with the soul of the Maison’s history. Through the elevated lens of Berluti, these values manifest in an authentic wardrobe brought to life through the artisanal savoir-faire embodied by the Maison, customized to the timelessness, versatility, and boldness synonymous with luxury and travel today.
Taking over six travel-ready styles which pay homage to Berluti’s rich heritage, and create a new travel narrative, inspired by the interiors of the store whose name it carries.
Rooted in Berluti’s history and spirit, the new canvas is inspired by the unique atmosphere in the Rue Marbeuf store. Particularly treasured by Olga Berluti, the Parisian location served successively as atelier and salon before being converted into a store. The wood-panelled façade would open its doors to reveal a gentleman’s club, where invited connoisseurs from around the globe dived into Berluti’s world and know-how.

Six new bags display Toile Marbeuf. Travel and urban-oriented thanks to its resistant materials, the line includes the Cabas tote, the Cartable backpack, the Musette messenger, the small cross-body Bourse, and the Bagage weekender. The iconic rolling luggage Formula 1005 is also featured.
To celebrate the Toile Marbeuf’s unconventionally modern travel philosophy, and to embody it in its latest campaign, Berluti reveals a special order car, a Porsche 356 Cabriolet.
Designed in 1948, notorious for its nimble silhouette, functional multi-purpose design and innovative engineering, the Porsche 356 is a symbol of classic road trips, where the journey is just as important as the destination and unexpected moments are part of the pleasure of evasion.
Berluti’s custom Porsche has been entirely customized with Venezia leather seats, doors and a spare wheel cover. Inspired by mid-century car colour combinations, the chosen patina is Saint-Émilion, highlighted by dark, contrasted edges in an artisanal process taking over 60 hours. The technical aspects of the car include the Flat 4-cylinder petrol engine, 1,582 cm3 displacement, 60 horse power, and twin carburetors. Details including door gussets, a sun visor and a key holder are molded from Venezia leather as well. The car is also equipped with a luggage rack featuring weatherproofed leather straps, snuggly fitting a special order Toile Marbeuf trunk, in a knowing nod to the original function of monogrammed canvas luggage: to be carried outwardly.

The Toile Marbeuf line now available in Berluti stores worldwide and on the e-shop.
