Berluti presents its Summer 2023 collection

From dusty deserts to lush green gardens, classic seasonal staples are styled for summer. Beachwear features an original floral print that looks beautifully faded by time. The Scritto pattern and Berluti's icons toy with luminosity, creating a wardrobe and accessories whose refreshing shades light your way from morning to night. A leather jacket patinated in Grey Sky Blue, drawstring pants, Bermuda shorts with side pockets, a hooded jacket in technical leather, silk cotton T-shirts worn under a baseball jacket in a cotton-and-silk blend fleece – this casual vibe runs through a collection that also catches the eye for its mix of sunshine colours – sky blue, mint green, camel – with softer shades like cement grey, sand and beige.

They bring out the details of the carefully embroidered letter Bs, the initial taken from the Maison's name. Denim is also part of the Berluti summer. Embellished by softly curved leather braiding, a jacket and five-pocket pants head a family of matching accessories in indigo denim, woven with Berluti's signature Scritto Arabesque motif.

Along with its Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection, Berluti is introducing this season a capsule of two iconic styles, perfect for a sunny break by the glassy blue waters of a swimming pool by the French Riviera. Fresh-spirited and seaside-ready, it comprises an oversized tote bag and a new edition of the Playtime sneaker with two different available versions. Made of terrycloth, the lightweight tote features an overblown all-over jacquard Scritto motif, making for a subtle yet distinctive overall look that easily withstands water and dries quickly.

Complete with details mimicking the Jour line codes, it includes a structured interior specifically conceived for beach and swimming pool getaways: a beige mesh lining with a zipped pocket houses a rubber envelope pouch to store a swimsuit both before and after taking a dip.

There’s more novelty within leather goods, with the new silky-to-the-touch Cloud line. Comprising a backpack, a camera bag style with a shoulder strap, a weekend bag, and a pouch, these pieces are made of navy-blue nylon with the Scritto pattern in jacquard weave. Their detailing in Venezia Cacao Intensio leather adds distinctive contrast.

In an extension of Berluti's imaginative colour chart, the shades of Venezia leather are summery and vibrant. This leather is truly iconic of the Maison, lending the collection’s softness and durability. Each additional patina is more vibrant than the last, like the new shades Olive, the warm Terra di Sienna, and Aveiro – an aquatic blue blended with a hint of grey. All blend harmoniously into the Maison's ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories lines.
