Drawing nonchalantly from his immaculate wardrobe, Belmondo revisits menswear classics to create a host of uncomplicated, distinctive looks, each taking footwear as its starting point. It might be a signature design like the Alessandro, Andy or Playtime; perhaps the new Oslo, or the Escale loafer. Whichever shoe he chooses, the rest falls into place quite naturally from an array of leather accessories and ready-to-wear pieces, painstakingly crafted by Berluti's skilled artisans. These artful combinations exude both innocence and charisma – that effortless ease that nonetheless catches one’s attention, in the same way that Victor Belmondo does. Timeless yet supremely modern, the pieces in the Spring-Summer line – from sharp raincoat, to forestière-style work jacket, to iconic leather with patina – are designed to balance suave elegance with casual ease. The four shades Blu minerale, Arancio vermiglio, Legno bruciato, and Appennini are rooted in Italian tradition, composing a colour palette like the four chapters that make up the Berluti man’s style in 2025.
Fronted by Victor Belmondo with his trademark authenticness, this resolutely contemporary collection brings a new dimension to the Maison's heritage. Despite its refined details, the overall feel is natural and relaxed – a faithful reflection of both Victor Belmondo and Berluti’s characters.
About Victor
Actor Victor Belmondo’s first role was in La Vie très privée de Monsieur Sim (Adapted from Jonathan Coe’s The Terrible Privacy of Maxwell Sim) in 2015, and the promising young Frenchman was soon signed for more ambitious projects like Franchin Don’s You Are Young You Are Pretty (Vous êtes jeunes, vous êtes beaux) and Versus by François Valla, where he really got into his stride.
After a standout 2019 appearance in Sweetheart (Mon Bébé, also starring Sandrine Kiberlain), he landed a lead role AA Fly Me Away (Envole-moi) in 2021. His headline status was cemented in 2023 with memorable performances in Drift Away (Albatros), Lie With Me (Arrête avec tes mensonges), and as Roger Vadim in the biopic Bardot. In 2024 he lit up the screen in Gaël Morel's 2024 To Live, To Die, To Live Again (Vivre, mourir, renaître), which premiered at Cannes Film Festival, and again in Diastème's Hear Me Love (Joli, Joli). In 2025 he is set to star in Olivier Marchal's Bastion 36, confirming him as one of France’s most promising actors of his generation.
